Asked about the probability of the Palaniswami govt going through a belief vote, Selvan explained that was “our intention.”

MLAs supporting Dhinakaran have been on the warpath towards Palaniswami, questioning the merger of the Amma faction-led by him and Panneerselvam’s Puratchi Thalaivi Amma faction on Monday.

Tamil Selvan criticised Palaniswami for aligning with Panneerselvam, who had been significant of the govt until really lately.

“The 122 (AIADMK) MLAs had manufactured Palaniswami Main Minister simply because Chinnamma (Sasikala) requested us to do so. Panneerselvam had voted towards the govt (in the February 18 belief vote).
