Solution of Doklam very soon, want to tell neighbours India wants peace says Rajnath Singh

NEW DELHI: Dwelling minister Rajnath Singh said on Monday that there will be a option to the Doklam situation “extremely shortly” simply because India would like “peace, not any confrontation”.

“There will be a option of Doklam situation extremely shortly…I want to convey to all the neighbours that India would like peace, not any confrontation”, said Singh speaking at an occasion organised by the Indo-Tibetan Border Law enforcement (ITBP).

“I am confident that China, on its section, will make a good shift and a resolution (to the dispute) will be uncovered,” additional Rajnath.

The Union minister more said that “in everyday living, a person can change mates, but a person are unable to change neighbours” and hence very good relations with neighbours is extremely important.

“When PM Narendra Modi termed all the neighbours for his swearing in ceremony, it was not just to shake hands. It was to have a balanced relation with all the neighbours,” said Rajnath.

The minister was referring to the India-China border standoff that began June 16 when Chinese troops violated the border into Doklam.

Even as he advocated peace, the minister conveyed that India’s troopers can under no circumstances be cowed. He recalled a trip he created to Ladakh not prolonged back and said he remembered getting surprised at the enormous spirit of the troopers there even in brutally cold circumstances.

“I went to Ladakh the moment and experienced under no circumstances experienced these harsh cold in everyday living. I was advised ITBP jawans would satisfy me in the morning I believed they will be cold and tired but the spirit I saw in them… No a person would dare elevate eyes in the direction of India. We have these courageous troopers. When I see these jawans, I really feel that there is no energy in the earth which can attack India,” said Rajnath.
